Lotus have used 2 types of pumps throughout the S2 / S3 Elise and S2 Exige range.
The early K-Series cars used the pump with the connector on the side.
The later S2 K-Series and most of the S2 Toyota Elise range used the pump with the connector on the top.
The S3 Elise could have either.
If you have a late S2 K-Series onward, we recommend to double check which type you need prior to order.
