Oil Temperature Sensor VVC Engine A111E6377S

The Oil Temperature Sensor is mounted on top of the VVC Hydraulic Control Unit.
The temperature reading is used by the ECU to determine how quickly the VVC mechanism will respond to the cam period change commands that affect the Variable Valve Control.
The VVC unit is also sensitive to the viscosity of the engine oil so use a good quality recommended engine oil.
